My teaching career has allowed me to motivate students to learn through learner centered strategies, technology enhanced learning, and interdisciplinary education. My role as a teacher is to empower students to desire a thirst for knowledge independently, yet provide a rigorous learning environment that stimulates and accommodates mastery of the learning objectives.
As an educator, I am committed to incorporating an interdisciplinary approach to teaching, and as a teaching artist I enjoy celebrating all types of music. I believe that all students have an innate musical center that can be a source of positive creativity.
